It also contained a short history of the company - Schultz and Co. - which had been established in 1866 by William Schultz and his son Robert and nephew John Hoge. Gaining quick popularity for their variety of soaps, the company also co-owned and managed the Zanesville Opera House, opened in 1880. (Inventory #: 003404)
