LA Girls' Catholic High School was founded in 1922 as the first secondary school sponsored by Diocese of Los Angeles; the school is still in operation as Bishop Conaty High School in the Harvard Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. 42 handwritten wrote notes, poems, and short messages from friends and classmates to the album owner, Isabelle. "You deserve the best of everything and I sincerely hope you'll have your deserts." "May the year to come increase our school day friendship, wishing you all the luck and happiness of a good girl!" "When Cupid bends his bow and lets his arrow go, I hope he Mrs. you." 5 signatures and notes from teachers. The physical education teacher even includes a drawing captioned "Isabelle at the Bat," showing a stick figure holding a baseball bat. Photos of friends spending leisure time together throughout the album. One photo of the all-girls "Varsity Basket ball [team] of CGHS '27-'28". Another notable photo shows a young woman on horseback wearing a sombrero.
